Opportunity: We’re looking for a Vice President of Sales to grow with our company.
Here’s what you’ll do:
The Vice President of Sales will be a key leader in the success of the company, and their role will be vital in creating and executing realistic sales strategies for the region. They will be expected to have a working knowledge of sales and be able to prospect, develop, and close major customers. The VP of Sales will also collaborate with their peers and other senior managers in developing company strategy and will have to define, implement, and monitor their sales team's performance against key performance indicators such as revenue vs. plan, contact rate, quote closure, and gross profit percentage. Finally, the VP of Sales will need to be proactive in anticipating and responding to market shifts and changes in performance in order to ensure long-term success and budget and functional KPIs are sustained.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Exercise strong, proactive, and strategic leadership of your team of direct reporting employees to achieve and even exceed MYLOS sales goals.
- Identify opportunities and market segments of the nearest abutting existing customer bases that meet our economic model and future market segments that may not be adequately addressed currently for growth opportunities.
- Ensure industry trends, best practices, and industry opportunities are capitalized upon.
- Maintain an awareness of competitors' sales initiatives and create a plan to counter them while staying focused on Company margin objectives.
- Develop and test price strategies on major bids with A/B split reporting.
- Continuously monitor margin erosion and provide sales strategies as offsets
- Benchmark Sales Division costs for competitive analysis.
- Continuously improve Sales Division costs, especially by finding new technology and automation
- Evaluate and increase the skill level of the sales organization.
- An ability to recruit, educate, and mentor top talent is expected.
- Actively promote MYLOS to key decision-makers by attending networking events, workshops, and conferences.
- Develop and coordinate new customer sales and relationships through the new leads provided by the company.
- Set goals and develop specific strategic plans to achieve growth objectives.
- Provide support and accountability for each sales member to achieve weekly, monthly and annual objectives for estimates delivered and sales closed.
- Help in the creation of quotes for impactful new sales opportunities. Attend and lead presentations for strategic accounts.
- Lead or participate in periodic meetings to assist in the focus of activities aimed at developing referrals.
- Exceed or minimally meet existing and/or new sales budgets.
- Coordinate and/or attend sales meetings on a regular basis to monitor and assist in the focus on specific activities that are aimed at key customer retention and renewal efforts.
- Execute strategic account maintenance and new development
- Assist in coordinating and/or implementing relationship, and customer service training opportunities at periodic company meetings.

Experience managing a sales team
- An ability to excel in a competitive, fast-paced sales environment
- Strong customer service and presentation skills required
- Exemplary relationship management skills with both customers and organization personnel
- Skillful negotiation skills required
- Above-average organizational skills and the ability to self start
- Ability to exceed or minimally meet sales quotas and deadlines
- Ability to manage own schedule within the construct of the company's gant charts
- Computer literacy and ability to rapidly learn known programs and proprietary programs
- Exemplary ethics even when it means at the detriment of your compensation
- You’re a minimum of 18 years old
- You’re enthusiastic and reliable
- You’re able to safely work with power equipment and work in the field to show you are a team player
